Stefan Sagmeister at the Karpeles — July 16 — part of TypeCon2008

This page will allow you to register for SOTA's exciting free public event - Stefan Sagmeister: Things I Have Learned in My Life So Far. This event is presented as part of TypeCon2008 in Buffalo. The festivities will take place the evening of Wednesday, July 16 at the Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum, North Hall, in Buffalo.

Doors open at 8:00 pm, with the event kicking off at 9:00 pm. A reception follows Stefan's presentation. His new book, "Things I Have Learned in My Life So Far," will be available for purchase, and Stefan will sign copies at the reception.

This event is presented by The Society of Typographic Aficionados (SOTA) in association with Veer and the Type Directors Club (TDC).

A limited number of seats are available free to the public on a first-come, first-served basis. If you are not a TypeCon2008 attendee, you must register here in order to reserve a seat and get your ticket. TypeCon2008 attendees and SOTA members are guaranteed seating at this event by RSVPing during TypeCon registration and/or membership sign-up.

After completing registration, you will receive an email with instructions on printing your personalized ticket. Be sure to arrive at the Karpeles by 8:00 pm with your receipt/ticket and photo ID to check in. All unclaimed seats will be released to the waiting list at 8:40 pm on the evening of the event.

This reservation is good for one seat only.
